Source: SQL 2012 SP1 server with a bunch of databases
Target: DPM 2012 SP1
I have a SQL 2012 database that refuses to replicate and be in an okay state. All of the other databases on the same instance replicate just fine. After taking the recommended actions: Resuming backup or Synchronizing with consistency check, it still fails with "Replica is inconsistent".
I remove the problematic database from the protection group to its own Protection group. During initial replication, it failed and refuse to finish with the same "Replica is inconsistent" error.
Having spent a whole day scouring for answers, I've decided that it might be something deeper and seeking the forum for help. I've looked at the DPM logs in the Install\Temp directory, but need help identifying said problem. I've compared possible errors on the SQL server (source), but did not find anything related to DPM initializing replica.
Our SCOM 2012 R2 Error alert:

All protection activities for data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check. (ID: 3106) An unexpected error occurred while the job was running. (ID: 104)
