We are taking backup of a '2019 SQL Server' (OS – Server 2019) with 'DMP 2019' (OS – Server 2019).
The SQL Server has 56 databases, total size 347 GB.
DPM server is set to take Full Express backup every 12 hours (retention period 24 hours).
Backups are successful, but it takes over 4 hours to restore Full backups of all database to a different '2019 SQL Server'!!
Where as it takes less than 30 min to restore Full backups of all database to a different '2019 SQL Server' from .bak files, using powershell DBATools.
Have we misconfigured DPM somehow, or is this excepted behavior?!
All VMs are hosted within our private vSphere cloud.
