I peformed a large amount of restores yesterday. i have a sql protection that i did a restore from this PG has 14 SQL DBs it backs up. i recovered from one DB out of the 14. i recovered once specific time from each day of the 15day cycle. (for example, 8:15am for the last two weeks of the month, 17th, 18th, 19th, etc...)
it took me about an hour and a half roughtly. i would start one, "walk away" and come back and start the next one.
I am peforming a self design check (i check daily the revocery points from the day before) for all the DBs in this PG, the time range that i performed the restore, prevented the scheduled recovery points from completeing. (i have this PG peform a sync every 15 minutes. and because the DBs are set to full recovery, they have a recovery point every 15minutes)
To my question, if i am performing a recovery, should that prevent the recovery point or the incremental from running.
thanks
Ian
