The Specified SQL instance "instanceName" is either invalid or cannot be found (ID: 32608)

Hi all;

When I specify the server name that has SQL Server 2014 SP2 as my Recovery Target Location, the following error message appears:

I am researching the answers to the following questions:

1. Does SSRT support SQL Server 2014 as a Recovery Target Location (note that I am using SCDPM 2012 R2 with UR 11).
2. What actually the SSRT checks that results the mentioned situation (as the above figure)?
