Cannot get point in time working with SQL 2014 and DPM R2

I fired up a new SQL 2014 server and I cannot get the option for point in time backups, I only get the express full backup option. I am running the newest CU 9 on DPM (4.2.1417.0). NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM has the sysadmin role. The recovery model is full.

I am puzzled to say the least. I have another SQL 2014 server at another site and it is backing up just fine every 15 minutes.
